Title: Information Interaction in Nature and Society: Recent Fundamental Research Trends

Abstract: In recent years, along with traditional research in information processes in technical systems such as telecommunications and computer networks, attention has also been focused on those in nature and society. The natural question that arises is the refinement and extension of the classical concept of "information", traditionally associated with technical systems (in the works of Shannon and Kolmogorov, for example). We propose a more general concept of "information interaction" between participants in the exchange of information not only between artificial, physical systems but also at the linguistic, semantic, and pragmatic levels among natural, living systems and those which combine aspects of the two. A full elaboration of this concept requires
